Rocking to the top in The Southland Regional SmokeFree RockQuest!
The Internship took out 1st place in the band competition at the 2024 SmokeFree RockQuest regional finals! Sam Kubrycht-Ellis, Tiaki Gillies, Emmanuel Rajeev Francis and Will Melvin competed in the Southland Regional Finals of SmokeFree RockQuest on Friday night at the Civic Theatre, performing their original songs Piece of Mind and Hold On.
The boys were up early in the programme and really got the crowd going with some audience participation - well supported by their fellow students! The next step for them is to make a video submission to be selected for the top 30, and ultimately the top 10, to travel to the finals in Auckland.
