The Year 8 boys held a fantastic Market Day this year, raising $1,244 for the Invercargill Cancer Society.
Fun activities and food were supplied by the boys for our Year 7 boys and our visiting guests - Waihopai School, parents, and family.
Invercargill Cancer Society was our chosen charity this year and we donated $1,244 to them. The boys chose this charity as a number of our boys have had family and friends affected by cancer. The rest of the money the boys put towards ‘Leaving a Legacy’ to the Junior School as they move into Year 9. The boys are basketball mad, so the Ambassadors thought it only fitting to leave our 2025 boys some nets for the hoops, and new basketballs for classes to play with during break times.
Congratulations to Room 22 who won the Year 8 Shield by making the most profit on the day.
